For children ages 8 through 14, hours 9am to 4pm
Ja'Duke Triple Threat Workshop:
For children ages 8 through 18, hours 9am to 4pm
Ja'Duke Broadway Dance Workshop:
For children ages 5 through 18, hours 9am to 4pm
Ja'Duke's Aladdin Jr. Workshop:
For children ages 8 through 14, hours 9am to 4pm

Ja'Duke's High School Musical Jr. Workshop:
July 7th – July 11th and July 14th – 18th
Hours: 9am-4pm
Ages: 8-14
Cost: $140/wk

Children will be immersed in a world of singing, dancing, and acting during this two weeklong Ja’Duke workshop experience. All participants will learn the fundamental skills of creating, practicing and performing in a 70 minute musical. During the two weeks children will be rehearsing for the show High School Musical Jr through various classes and activities.

High school Musical Jr is a version of Disney’s original High School Musical written for pre-high school students. It contains all of the songs from the Disney Channel musical plus one new number as well as a High School Musical Megamix. Each day will be broken down as follows:

9:00am-10:00am                         Singing Rehearsal
10:00am-10:15am                        Snack Break
10:15am-11:15am                         Dancing Rehearsal
11:15am-12:15pm                        Acting Rehearsal
12:15pm-12:45pm                        Lunch Break
12:45pm-1:45pm                        Costume, Props, and Sets
1:45pm-2:45pm                        Specialty Classes
2:45pm-3:45pm                        Putting it all Together
3:45pm-4:00pm                        Wrap up

Students will be divided into various age groups. Each participant will be provided with musical tracks, scripts, and a High School Musical Jr T-Shirt.

The performance of High School Musical Jr will be on Friday, July 18th in our black box theater at the Ja’Duke Center for the Performing Arts.

Ja’Duke’s Triple Threat Theater Workshop is designed to give young actors and actresses the exciting experience of total immersion in singing, dancing, and acting – Broadway style. Participants will further their skills in all areas of performing arts allowing each to contribute their special talents in the creative process.

This weeklong workshop will focus on the fundamentals of singing, dancing, and acting. Students will work together to create their own theatrical show. The schedule for the Ja’Duke Triple Threat Theater Workshop will be as follows:

A performance will be held on July 25th in our black box theater at the Ja’Duke Center for the Performing Arts at 3pm. We will add more performances if needed.

Ja'Duke Broadway Dance Workshop:
July 28th – August 1st
Ages: 5-18
Hours: 9am-4pm
Cost: $140/wk

Ja’Duke’s Broadway Dance Workshop is designed to allow students to explore various forms of dance all in one week. This workshop provides an atmosphere in which dancers can develop and explore dance, while still learning the basic technique of dancing. All the dances will be performed to past and present Broadway songs. The schedule for the Ja’Duke Broadway Dance Workshop will be as follows:

9:00am-10:00am                        Warm-up and basic technique
10:00am-10:15am                        Relax and Refuel
10:15am-11:15am                        Broadway Jazz Class
11:15am-12:15pm                        Tap Time
12:15pm-12:45pm                        Lunch

Aladdin Jr is a stage version of Disney’s original movie of Aladdin geared for younger students. It contains many of the songs from the original movie including “Friend Like Me” and “A Whole New World.” Each day will be broken down as follows:
