($70/week)
Ja’Duke Glee Workshop
August 9th – August 13th (one week) Ages 12-18 9am-4pm
(Includes sleepover from Thursday to Friday)

Ja’Duke Beauty and the Beast Workshop

Ja’Duke Beauty and the Beast Workshop
Students will be immersed in a world of singing,
dancing, and acting as they learn the entire Beauty and the Beast broadway show. Featuring infamous music including Be our Guest and Beauty and the Beast. You
don’t need to be in New York to star in your own
Broadway show!!

Beauty & the Beast Workshop is a version of Disney’s originalBeauty & the Beast written for students of all ages. It contains songs from the Disney Channel Movie. Each day will be broken down as follows:

9:00am-10:00am                        Singing Rehearsal
10:00am-10:15am                      Snack Break
10:15am-11:15am                      Dancing Rehearsal
11:15am-12:15pm                     Acting Rehearsal
12:15pm-12:45pm                     Lunch Break
12:45pm-1:45pm                       Costume, Props, and Sets
1:45pm-2:45pm                        Specialty Classes
2:45pm-3:45pm                        Putting it all Together
3:45pm-4:00pm                        Wrap up

Students will be divided into various age groups. Each participant will be provided with musical tracks, scripts, and a Beauty & the Beast T-Shirt.

The performance of Beauty & the Beast will be on Friday, July 16th in our black box theater at the Ja’Duke Center for the Performing Arts.

Ja’Duke Triple Threat Theater Workshop Week #1
July 19th – July 23rd (one week)
Ages 8-18 9am – 4pm

Ja’Duke’s Triple Threat Theater Workshop is designed to give young actors and actresses the exciting experience of total immersion in singing, dancing, and acting – Broadway style. Participants will further their skills in all areas of performing arts allowing everyone to contribute their special talents in the creative process.

This weeklong workshop will focus on the fundamentals of singing, dancing, and acting. Students will work together to create their own theatrical show. The schedule for the Ja’Duke Triple Threat Theater Workshop will be as follows:

11:15am-12:15pm                      Improvisation and Acting Techniques
12:15pm-12:45pm                      Lunch

3:45pm-4:00pm                          Wrap up

Students will be divided into various age groups. Each participant will be provided with appropriate music, scripts and a Triple Threat T-Shirt.

A performance will be held on July 23rd in our black box theater at the Ja’Duke Center for the Performing Arts at 3pm. We will add more performances if needed.

Ja’Duke Broadway Dance Workshop
July 26th – July 30th (one week)
Ages 5-18 9am – 4pm
Cost: $140/wk
*Half days available for ages 5-8*
Half days $70.00

Ja’Duke’s Broadway Dance Workshop is designed to allow students to explore various forms of dance all in one week. This workshop provides an atmosphere in which dancers can develop and explore dance, while still learning the basic technique of dancing. All the dances will be performed to past and present Broadway songs. The schedule for the Ja’Duke Broadway Dance Workshop will be as follows:

10:00am-10:15am                       Relax and Refuel
10:15am-11:15am                       Broadway Jazz Class
11:15am-12:15pm                       Tap Time

Ja’Duke Princess Cheer Workshop
August 9th – August 13th (one week)
Ages 5-12 9am-12pm
Cost $70/wk

Ja’Duke Princess Cheer Workshop
What do you get when you combine the princess attitude with the energy of cheerleading? Ja’Dukes Princess Cheer Workshop! Students will explore various areas of cheerleading - princess style! Classes will includejk dancing, tumbling, cheerleading, stunting, hair/make-up and much more!!!

Ja’Duke Glee Workshop
August 9th – August 13th (one week)
Ages 12-18 9am – 4pm
Cost: $140/wk

Students will be immersed in a world of "Glee" during this week-long workshop. Performers will learn several songs and dance routines from the hit television series. Beyond this students will work together to create their own version of Glee, Ja'Duke style!!!

Included in this workshop is a sleepover at JCPA on Thursday night. During this time students will be able to watch the entire seasons of Glee on full screen projection. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this new workshop offered strictly for older perfomers. There will be no other workshop like this one so don't miss out!!!!
